You would not want such a lame design as your school logo, right? A school logo isn’t just your typical type of logo. It represents everything that your school is taking a stand for, it unifies the students, and it embodies the whole of the student body organization. And because it carries a lot of importance with it, you are left with no choice but to give your utmost best and ace your school logo design. Of course it would have been a lot easier if only you didn’t have to impress hundreds of other students. It is undeniably quite a very difficult task, however with lots of researching here and there, you can definitely get it done. Lucky for you, we already did all of the necessary basic research that you needed to do.
Color is definitely the very first thing that we might notice in anything out there, which makes it the most basic aspect that is needed to be carefully considered. For a large number of people, creating a logo would entail choosing indeed a very eye catching color. Moreover, the color or the combination of colors must be the representations of the school’s ideals and even more so, reflect the school’s history and where it is situated. For instance, if regal elegance is somehow one of the school’s core themes, then choosing the color purple would be better than the rest of the colors since it exhausts a lot of elegance and nobility. Or if your school is situated in a place where it is widely known for its beautiful production of flowers and such, then giving a touch of earthly design or floral design on your logo would be a great choice. Or if your school is located in a place where it is very famous for its beautiful flower plantations and fields, then choosing an earthly design with a hint of a floral design would work for the best. Or maybe use a virtual highschool for personalization.
Of course colors alone would not stand for much. It should also have coordination with the other elements found in the logo meaning that they should match with each other and not be oil and water. Or that it should complement with your branding strategy such as mascots and merchandise or a virtual highschool. Example, if your school already uses a jaguar as a mascot everytime you have matches with the other schools or something, then a picture of a jaguar should also be included in the design of the logo or at least something that would mean jaguar or just a virtual highschool.
It would also help to check out your competition as well. It would not hurt to take some pointers from your competition. Pay close attention to the way the did their design like you are looking and deliberating on your own. What kind of elements like the virtual highschool did they include in their design and which did they prioritize the most. How heavy were their texts? Try virtual highschool.
